[Week4] Interesting things that I learned about in chapel or one of my other classes

Today, I want to share my refreshing jolt when I took calvinism class first time. Till I entered into Chongshin University, I’ve never been heard about Calvinism. I just heard that Chongshin is based on Calvinism. Another theory was not strange but Predestination was too hard to comprehend. There is some gap between my faith and Predestination. So I was pondering these issues. At first time, I can’t acknowledge this theory. I　reject all theory, Even in the test. But studying the theory, I got a point there. In this course, I found more precious than theories. But that was too late. Because I already got a F in the class....

 

[Week4] A place that I have gone-Namhansanseong

Last winter vacation, I went to Namhansanseong in seong-nam. There are a lot of atrraction like palace, a pine grove. But The landscape is not a main point of Namhansanseong. To enjoy this place really, You have to know history of this. Especially, This Mountain was last place of defense like Maginot Line in the Second World War.

There were many event in this place. But I will give you one event. I want to deal with our miraculous victory story in Namhan Mountain. When Manchuria(a sort of china) invade our country, we overpowered by them. And they moved forward behind Namhan Mountain fortress. But Despite such overwhelming odds against them, the Joseon(old name of Korea) side managed to resist for 47 days. And we keep off the enemy. After you know the story, try see the sight. In every place you can feel our ancestors’s trace.
